Hey guys,

Looking to buy some new tires to replace the stock ones that came with the car when I bought it (2018 Civic Si Coupe)

Currently, I have Avid AV-20 rims, 18 x 9,5inch +38 offset on the stock 235/40.

I was looking at Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 in either 245/40 or 255/35 (The 255 are cheaper so I'm including this size if it fits). What would be the best choice here? No need to roll the fenders on stock suspension?

Thank you!

I ran the Firehawks in a 255/35 on wheels with those same specs and was happy with the fitment. I did not need to roll the fenders but I had coilovers and camber adjustments to work with.

Awesome! How did you like the Firehawk's? I think I'm going to go with the 255 also

Big fan. High level of performance at a VERY reasonable price. No they are not Michelin Pilot Sports but you really can't beat them for the cost.

I have Avid1 AV27 and 255/35r18 Indy 500 (on sportline lowering springs). I got them at the time because I wanted summer tires and was on a budget, but I love them! They grip well for what the price of these tires are, but will be getting PS4S next tire set

Is this the genesis brembo set up from slick fab? I’m looking at these same wheels and would like to know if you have spacers at all and how close is the wheel to the caliper. Thanks!!
and the Indy 500’s in 255/35 is a great choice.

Yes it is, and honestly look at other wheels there’s little clearance (little bit less than bare minimum) with a 3mm spacer and you can’t use a 5mm spacer because you will not have enough thread engagement on your lug nuts so then you’ll need extended wheel studs. Which is another pain in itself since the whole wheel hub has to be removed in order for extended studs to be pressed in. So go for +30 offset unless it’s flat faced wheel spoke design (Ex. RPF1s) or if it specifically states big brake kit friendly. These calipers really are massive and difficult on wheel selection

Hi in regards to Firestone,

when buying tire please be very careful with the manufacturers date. there are alot of places here in the GTA that are selling "deals" with tires made in "XX16" An old tire is just and old tire. I tried to find some 18"s but ended up getting a killer deal on 17"s.
