Wow!
Wow!
Wow!

Hopefully some of these parts will be available and fit in our current Type R's. I would be very interested in the larger fuel tank but I kinda doubt it will fit and still keep the rear seats.

Id be interested in seeing a comparible chart to the differences between this and a stock ctr, including prices.

I wonder what specific CSF parts they used and how they were mounted. I see more holes in the front of that TC race car (the fake grills are less fake now).

It looks like an ebay one that they glued a badge to. I actually wouldn't be surprised if this is actually what it is. (for this sort of race car with relatively low production numbers Honda is likely not making new bespoke grills)
True. I was going to pick up one of those ebay grilles but I am having trouble finding out which emblem fits it properly. I read it is not the same size as our OEM emblems. I'll look into it some more.

I find it interesting they're using the OE Honda Intercooler for the Type R TC.

I'd like to get my hands on these: HPD high strength 3rd and 4th gears

I think the TC provides a really impressive build sheet, and something to aim for if the parts ever become publicly available. I almost had a set of those forgestars built myself, but the lead time on custom bits are a bit long and I’ve seen some poor finishes in the past. Had the F14 18x10’s on my track mustang in orange and loooovvved then.

This is the car I THOUGHT I was buying when I got my Type R. And consistent with the sad reality of the stock car's not-ready-for-track-day state of prep, it will take another $60K to get mine track ready, and that's a conservative number. Not trying to hate on the Type R sold by dealers, it's a wonderful street+ car, and just what 98% of its buyers want. It's only the other 2% of us who are disappointed. Which is why I will be selling my car after 5 months of ownership. Hey, if I needed a street car, the Type R would be my choice. But I have a street car and want a track-ready car and I just dont have the requisite $98K to buy one, or $60K to upgrade mine.
