I don't think it will even get more air into the engine bay. If you remove the vents to look, there is no ducting or passage to into the engine bay that would make any noticeable difference.

Holy shit finally somebody made these after 5 years! And they actually match the finish unlike that Chinese ebay crap everybody had to buy.

Now we just need an upper grille with the correct mesh style, maybe another 3 years later.

R&D of precision-crafted parts takes money and time. TBH, these are low-volume accessories. Out of the 48000 CTRs out there, maybe 100 will buy a set if they aren't wrecked by now.

where is the data to show that you are lowering temps? unless you have side mount oil cooler i'm having a hard time seeing how this will help route air to any cooling system in the car.
It will not route air to any cooling system, but it should help to reduce engine bay temps (heat soak) when at speed. We didn't do a measurement session for it though.

Do you guys still offer a discount code for the forums?
We do normally, but can't on this particular part. We just don't have enough right now. But, if you order this in combination with another part, you might be able to use one of the Fall Sale discount codes posted on our site.

We do, but it wouldn't be worth it for a single one of these going to HK. You'd probably have to order about 5x to make it worth it (or add on other parts). PM me if you're interested.

Are the brake ducts behind there? If so, it could help with flow for cooling the brakes. Might have to scoop a set of these for an oil cooler setup.

Yes, that's often were brake ducts are installed, and oil coolers sometimes too. But, you'd have to cut a whole and have a tube to route air to the brakes so the air doesn't just get pushed into the general wheel well area.

I would imagine that opening that area up will increase the amount of flow to that duct in general which should suffice for most, but I havent really looked in that vicinity yet.

Interesting product. Thank you for producing it. I'll keep this on my radar to look for independent product reviews.

Has anyone verified how the turbulence this mod would create affects the engine's air inlet?
