Did you custom tune yourself or did you bring it to a pro tuner?
Maf is calibrated from me to 0 zero with help (@varge )
pressure map with help (@varge ) to 22psi
Advance from tuner but very close to base map
As I am in initial support not much to tune
It is certain it has nothing to do with overdoing ingnition

Any update?
I checked your logs and noticed that you have very high iat temps. Knock control is reacting to this probably. What kind of fuel are you using?

Did you have the same behavior with the starter 18?

Here in Greece is 100ron in pump i don't remember the equivalence in US .
You call high both iat's?

I have not tried other maps with artificial off.

As an update I have tried to use the base map to copy paste boost etc and reflashed but same old song!

Ambient temp around 20 Celsius.
Note: stock I/C, mishimoto intake

That boost is probably too much for such a long pull with stock intercooler. You are at over 45 degrees iat 2

Try with 18 psi

IAT2 is not the problem. I’m custom tuned for CAPTS Stage 2 turbo, which is TD03 hybrid, targeting peak boost of 23.5 psi from 4000 rpm, hitting 50 celcius IAT2 & my knock control sits at .49. Only after 3rd pull I saw my knock control went up to .58.

@markon : did you make any changes to your ignition base? I’m on initial support & I can do basic engine tuning. The only missing features are on the fly map switch, boost by gear, & flex fuel in non beta codebase.

yes ignition base changes have been made but (i will check to be super sure) we are talking about 2-3degrees actual ignition.

i've often reached 0.8 with 21 psi starter map after a 3rd-4th-5th (till the limiter) pull with stock intercooler

2-3 degrees of actual ignition could have significant effect.

Did you activate disable artificial knock increase feature? If you did, you're having a real knock & that is not because of high IAT2 temperature.

I used TSP stage 1 for Non SI CVT when I used stock IC. Peak boost was 24 psi. After 3 pulls, my knock control went up to .80 but we didn't have feature to disable artificial knock control. IAT 2 was 58 celcius with 34 celcius ambient temp.

2-3degrees is i think fairly factory advance.
I do not mean added 2-3degrees

I didn't explain well probably. I had those movements when the disable wasn't available yet!
Anyway knock control can raise even if you have high temps.

I would suggestto set iat corrections in ktuner and try again

can you pls suggest any reading regarding iat corrections?

(even though from what I am discussing here in Greece with known tuner it really comes to some kind of bug ?
it is very sudden to see after 5th gear and tps 100% knock exploding!!!)
