New Honda Oil Filter?

Went to the dealer yesterday to stock up on A01 oil filters, found an interesting situation. Apparently the 15400-PLM-A01 has become unavailable, at least at my dealer, here's the current status;

154000-PLM-A01 (Filtech) not available
154000-PLM-A02 (Fram) Available
154000-PLM-003 (Mahle Tennex) Available & marked "Made in Japan" (blue color, Honda marked)

The 003 filter is being used as a replacement for the A01, in construction and appearance it looks identical to the Hamp H1540-RTA-505/515 and the A01. haven't cut one open yet, seems like a quality filter. I bought 10 for $6.10 ea. Any experience here on this new substitute for the A01? Never heard of Mahle Tennex, was surprised to see "Made in Japan" on them. Anyway, I'm in for 10 of them, hopefully they are good quality.

Thanks for the reply, sort of mediocre reviews, perhaps I should return them and try to seek out some A01`s,
I was hoping they would be at least the quality of the A01, but apparently not. Probably would work fine but I just prefer metal end caps to cardboard. Just can't understand why Honda persists in using a filter with, IMHO, marginal quality (A02) They're going cheap in the wrong place! Was hoping the 003 would be Hamp quality.

Talking with my dealer, he's going to try to find me some 154000-PLM-A01's, really was hoping that the 003, being made in Japan would be, at least, equal to the A01, disappointing. It's a shame that the dealers don't have the Hamp filters available through the normal parts network, seeing as how they are (apparently?) a part of Honda.
