Hello everyone! Hope my message find everyone well despite of what's been going around the world.

I'm totally a blank piece of paper when it come to car.. recently i decide i wanna buy a new Honda Civic 10th gen but i'm not sure if i wanna get it now or should i wait for the 2021 model. Any suggestion and reason are always welcome =)

It depends which year model you prefer. I have 2019 Sedan, test drived 2020 model which has slight upgrades, and heard from the dealer that 2021 comes no different with 2020. At least in EU. So I would say no change to be expected. In which region you are living?

Great! A bit offtopic, but I found Malaysian 2020 model, and looks like Asian market is onlyone to get chromed grille option with facelift. So, yeah, there are slight differences in different countries. Looking forward if they bring this option in 2021 in Europe aswell.

Just realized we never said “Hi”... We are Chris (I do the wrenching and most posting), and Amy (she does the looking at photos and telling me what’s next). We’re from Harrisburg PA suburbs, and it’s her daily driver and first Honda. I have owned an 87 CRX Si I swapped a b18 into and wish I still had, an 89 Prelude Si with fws, and a 98 DX. I have never owned an automatic transmission, neither has she in our 21 years together. She’s finally experiencing what I have for years! My daily right now is an 87 4Runner I’ve had since 95, and a project 90 Audi Quattro 90 20v(7A) I’m trying to turbo... needless to say I’m looking for my own Si or CTR... we’re loving this site so far! Thanks to all!

Hello All, I am definitely new to this board.

I will be the proud owner of a 2020 Touring Sedan CVT in about 48 hours from now. So no pictures to post in this thread. I did try the SI but for the sake of the GF I had to go automatic!

Local Dealer made a huge mistake in selling price so I ended up with a 2019 LX Hatchback 6MT! Saved a lot of money overall!

I am coming from a 2013 Infiniti G37S RWD 6MT so things are definitely different but looking forward to reading a whack load and what makes sense to do or not to do this board. My first two cars 17 and 10 years ago were both Honda's! Making my way back!

I've been lurking around, and wanted to say hi.

Recently I put a deposit down on a white 2020 Si sedan. I'm excited to get back into a Honda Civic SI!

Here's my car history for shits and giggles:

I learned to drive on my dad's 1990 Mustang GT 5.0 manual with a centerforce clutch+flywheel setup. Also learned to drive in my Mom's 1991 Accord 5MT.

1. First car - 1994 Chevy C1500
2. 1978 Chevy C15 lifted with 36" tires
3. 2003 Civic Ex coupe 5MT
4. 2006 Civic Si coupe (RIP... I would still have this car today, but I fell asleep at the wheel)
5. 2008 Fit (just a car to get me from point A-->B)
6. 2009 Civic EX sedan 5MT
7. 2014 Ford Focus ST (Cobb Stg 3 setup, wife hated it)
8. 2015 Chevy Volt (boring)
9. 2017 Ford Edge SEL (cracked engine block, and bad PTU @ 28k)
10. 2018 Ford Edge SEL (blown transmission after 25k, getting warranty work now)
11. 2020 Civic SI sedan (happily waiting to be delivered, happily waiting to get out the shitty Ford)

I have a 2016 Civic EX 2.0L and just hit 100k miles (lots of highway driving). I keep it all OEM with the exception of reusable air/cabin/oil filters (reusable filters are a good cost savings since I drive so much).

I'm a mechanical engineer so naturally I like to do my own maintenance and I inspect a lot more than most people since I drive 25k miles per year. I have 24/7 access to the service manuals so if you ever have any maintenance questions, shoot me a PM.

I used to be into the import scene back in my younger years but then I grew up. Had a '99 Civic EX that was all stock except the JDM B18C lol. Fun times.

Good day, my name is Liberal [Libertarian]. I live in Ontario, Canada and am taxed to death ? ? Previously had a 2004 5spd CRV that my papa gave me and when it was time for a clutch I scrapped it. Through FB marketplace I found a 2018 6spd Honda Civic LX Sedan lease takeover that I couldn't pass up, and I am really happy with it and given the amout of km's I put on it will likely be buying it out in 2 years time. I joined CivicX just to thank someone for posting how to enable developer options in the android dash unit, so may not be too active here but will see me around here from time to time. Hi from Wisconsin. Bought my first Honda (2016 Civic) about a month and a half back. I'm getting sent to Texas for a year and decided my 2002 Dodge Durango with a quarter million miles was not likely to make the trip. So, got a good deal on a clean 2016 with the intent of trading it in for a 2020/2021 when I get back early 2022.

Loving this car and the gas mileage. Absolutely rocks and I love driving it.

Hello Civic X,

Been a honda owner ever since, I've had numerous hondas in my life, from Acura CL's, Honda Accords, and now into a 2017 Civic Ex Owner. Not expecting to move on to this car but as of Oct 4th of this year I got into an accident with my 2015 Accord EX, it was declared totaled due to Multiple Airbag deployments. I found this civic as a steal from a dealer (14k miles, all clean, brand new car scent intact, lease return car with warranty intact for 14k). Looking forward to this forum.
