The subs sound amazing, btw. There’s a distinct lack of high end out of the stock speakers, even with the Dasaita head unit and fiddling with the EQ. When my local shop did the sub install, I had them run an extra lead for a 4ch amp, which I think I may install and add some Hertz components in the front doors, minimum....maybe all four sometime this summer. No regrets at all, though.
I'm glad the sub sounds good, and I'm sure the overall sound is better. All I meant by regret was that you would find that you'll want to swap the doors, which is a second time having to deal with it. At least you pre-wired it to reduce that second effort.?

Totally. Yeah, I used to do stereo installs and that kind of stuff back in the day and knew that the itch was probably back, so I figured it would be a good idea. I’m glad it sound MUCH better than stock (the head unit swap actually did a fair bit to help, and running RCAs will do even more, I’m sure), but yeah...I’ll likely do the rest this summer. The sound in my old GS-R used to be *chef’s kiss*, but it’s been over a decade now that I regularly used that car and had the gear in it. I do miss my JL 10w7s....

Hello all. Just picked up my lightly used 2020 PMM Type R. Purchased off of this forum. Coming from a Veloster N w/ PP, & an E92 328. I decided to sell both & move to the Honda. I’ve had the pleasure of owning a few Honda models. Would love to have my 2003 S2000 back. One of the cars I regret parting with.

Thank you for adding me. I joined the forum because I just purchased a 2021 Civic EX Hatchback, and I’m in love with it. My son’s girlfriend has owned one for a couple of years, and I’ve always thought it has such a beautiful look. I’m curious as hell about the 2022 Civic Hatchback, but I don’t regret my decision to purchase now one bit.

Hello! My name is Jim and I am in Arkansas. I just purchased a new 2021 Honda Civix EX-L in Modern Steel Metallic. I am coming from a Toyota Tundra. Gas was eating me alive on my 108 mile daily hwy commute and the Civic fit my desire for good gas mileage but very sporty. I am getting an average of 45mpg and I love the car.

Thanks for having me!

Hello. My name is Matt and I'm from socal. Owned my Civic Si for about 8 months now and I love it. This is my first manual car ever. Currently setting up the car as a daily with occasional track/canyon days. I've been on the forums before but was never really active in them and looking to change that. Looking forward to see how everyone's civic's are in the future!

Hey everyone new member here.
I've been lurking for a while but I finally got my first car. I recently purchased a slightly used 2020 civic si. I've had the car for about 3 weeks now and am LOVING it. When I went to buy the car I didn't know how to drive manual so I had a friend drive it and as soon as I got it I practiced non stop on his car till I was comfortable enough to drive my new car. So far I've done a muffler delete and installed two tips to get rid of the hideous HDMI exhaust and installed subs. Very happy with the car next I plan on lowering on d2 springs and installing a front lip.

Newest member checking in; this is my 8th Honda, (3 8th Gen Si coupes, 2 2nd Gen CRXs, 1 4th Gen Civic Si, and an RSX Type-S) but I've been out of the family for the last 3-4 years driving a Mk7 GTI. I was planning to keep that for much longer, but the combination of insane trade-in values and a chance to buy a Type-R at MSRP made for the perfect combination. Picked up #43777 in Boost Blue last Friday:

I somehow missed this thread the other day when I signed up on the forum.

I'm a Navy vet who has been into greasy RWD cars for a couple of decades now. 240sx chassis were kind of my thing but I'm about done with that scene, at least for a while. I've lived all over the US and in Japan for 5 years. I definitely have an affinity for Japanese market vehicles, Nissans in particular, but I appreciate all cars and have owned everything from a Buick Park Ave ultra to an 04' RX-8.

This is my first Honda; I picked up this 2020 Rallye Red FC3 a couple of weeks back as an upgrade from my tried and true 2010 Corolla daily. All of my cars are MT and I'm happy that Honda is one of the last that still offer a truly good stick.

I'm really impressed with handling and braking so far. I'm a grip driver at heart and have done a few HPDE events in my 5th gen 1LE Camaro. I've also got an S14 240sx that I'm building for auto-X/SCCA/NASA type work.

So far I'm having a real struggle keeping this thing mostly stock for my daily commute. I tend to go HAM on my cars. (See below)

So I'm here to learn/research and I'll probably start a build thread eventually like I did with the 240. (S14's If anyone is interested).

Hi everyone!

I'm from South Jersey and it's really nice to meet all of you. I currently have a 2017 Honda Civic Si Sedan. I used to have a 2015 Honda civic ex but I traded that in for my car. I'm really excited to be here and be apart of everything :)
