That's the new Sport Line Type R. It's been mentioned on a few threads already. Sadly, not for U.S. market.

I like it!
Says the new Sport Line Type R is starting at the equivalent of about $45,000. I wonder what the standard Type R is going for in the same part of the world?

The 2019 EURO Type R GT is around 40k USD. Not sure why the Sport Line bumps the price up another 5k. I guess for the new wheels, seats, spoiler, steering wheel, and suspension upgrades?

I'm digging it. Not that I could get one in the US, nor afford it anyway. Lol.

I’m hoping replicas start popping up soon
That’s pretty much a given. Watch eBay and Aliexpress. Hopefully around $199 shipped or $250 paint matched.

May I remind you all that OEM parts are available to order, I believe @stephenmeadows would love to help, only the cost for the OEM part + shipping is kinda expensive...

I’m not a fan. It doesn’t mesh well with the style of the car to me. I would prefer Honda made a proper aggressive roof spoiler ( HFP not the bunny ears ). With the Civic’s more “sport back” than hatchback design, it could really use the prominent roof spoiler to enhance the style. Something along the style of Mitsubishi’s Ralliart Lancer Sportback would be perfect.

This does prove what has been said over and over on this forum for a while. The big wing might improve high speed performance but not actually necessary. The car does not become unsafe with a lowered spoiler or else Honda wouldn’t be offering it. You know how many people believed that the car was designed to have that huge wing and removing it would make the car lose all its stability? Lol

So good job, to whoever it was, that spotted this type R on a trailer months ago and shared it.

This is the exact model! Somebody must’ve dropped the ball when transporting this one and didn’t cover it lol.
