So I've been tinkering with the ideas of brembo brake upgrades. Today I've confirmed some details. First, this kit still requires slight modification. Second, like most of all other bolt on brand bbk options, wheels must use spacers for clearance or upgraded wheels with aggressive offset.
With that being said, I'll be doing a youtube video of my finished setup upon final installation. Which includes being powder coated and SS braided brake lines. Do me the favor and follow/subscribe to my channel:

SO, I purchased brembo brake calipers from Autozone for test fit. Calipers come from 2006 Acura TL Type S. The factory knuckles need to be drilled one size larger in order for the caliper bolts to fit. However, the calipers bolt locations are the same as the factory si.
The brembo calipers are approximately 1/4 thicker than the factory si brackets, which means i still need to find a rotor that is offset such width. Im guessing that the S2000 rotors or Acura TL rotors may fit, but I haven't ordered them quite yet. This mod has been done on 8th gen and 9th gen si's with similar results. So Im using their suggestive equipment accordingly with assumption that our knuckles and offsets are similar in size.
Im guessing ill be able to put together a bbk for under $500 if I can source the correct fitted parts which includes the following:
Acura TL Brembo Brake Calipers (pair): $120 on ebay
Offset Brake Rotors (pair): $120 To be announced
Custom SS braided brake lines (pair): $120 made locally
Acura TL Brembo Brake Pads (pair): $50.36 amazon
total cost (approximately): $410.36
I'll keep updates as I gather more parts for fitment.
