Just curious to see the demographics of new CTR owners (if you don't mind sharing). Found out (through a friend) that another CTR owner in my state is the same age as me (born 1980). I wonder if most of us were teenagers during the import craze during the mid/late 90's-early 2000s and couldn't afford a ITR, GSR, Si, or any new car but now fortunately able to.

I personally don't care that my wife thinks that I'm having a mini mid-life crisis (although deep down I think she wanted it too!). I just really like to enjoy driving, if that makes sense.

49 yrs young and loving the CTR, had a friend say it looks like a teenagers car, my reply, you think a teenager can afford it, and then I asked him what would you say to a young person in a corvette, would you tell him "hey that looks like an old mans car" and he said no, so I went on to tell him the Type R story, that its never been in America, people have been waiting forever and then everything made since to him, so old or young I'm gonna enjoy it, and can careless what people have to say!!!!

Hey it appears that I am the old guy here. The only 61+ in this group. I don't feel old.

31 here! I also love the Type R. One of the best car i have owned along with my NSX. Two top dogs in my arsenal.
You're 31 with a garage like that! Teach me your ways! Perhaps IT is not the way to go. I want to own a business but I'm very risk averse.

For a car considered to be a "Boy Racer" some older individuals hold the mass interest
That's because people in their 30's now were teens back when the ITR was here, and probably couldn't afford one. So even though the CTR has never been here, it still has a nostalgic effect.
