Hi,

This is my first post, in early April I became the owner of a fresh-off-the-truck Championship White CTR. It’s goegeous. I only paid $2k over after discussing for over 5 hours the reasons why that makes sense. In California is next to impossible to do anything under $10k, especially in Southern California.

I am very active at The Temple of VTEC and have owned a one owner Fiji Blue Pearl FG2 for over 12 years. I’m at 305,500 miles on it, no real issues. Still rocks my world.

Here’s my instagram:

Congrats on the CTR! Welcome!

Now go shoot whoever installed the front plate on that beautiful car. :flame:
Lol. Honestly, I don’t mind. I’m going to buy bumper plugs. I learned to care less about it. In California they do that a lot, hard to find something as specific as the CW CTR for an acceptable price, while also being picky about that frame. I would’ve preferred had they not done it though. As it stands it saves me the headache, I can just put my plates on and rock on.

Why in the world would anyone do it unless required by law? And they should ask the buyer if they want it installed.

Thanks for the welcome!!!
I’m a license plate hider in forums, I’m sorry to say that that’s a photoshopped number. I try to be goofy with it rather than just blur it, when I have the time.

My dealer asked me when I picked up my car if I wanted a front plate drilled on. I’m in New Jersey, so it’s required...technically. I asked what he thought and he said “I wouldn’t drill holes in it..just run without a plate you should be fine”. I’ve passed numerous cops and they haven’t seemed to care. Hopefully my luck holds out until I move into PA later this year. The bumper design looks way more complete without a plate interrupting it.

Yes definitely do NOT put the front plate on if you can help it. 100% agree with you that it looks more complete and "clean" without it.

Hey garoto, nice CTR! I remember you from back in the day on TOV when the 8th gens were just coming out. I've still got my FG2 after 12 years as well:
