DWS06 + are the best it seems

Did the tire shop give you any pushback on mounting non-OEM spec tires on the car/rims?I ran the OG DWS06 for about a year with 245/40R18 and I was not too impressed with them in wet performance. MO didn't get a ton of snow, so I cant comment on how they do with that, but in rain, they always slipped/spun, could possible be the roads here but just never felt like I had solid road contact with the road if it was even remotely wet. Dry performance was great year round.
Good looking wheels ??Ordered DWS06 Plus for my "winter" set. Should arrive Monday. $776 for 265/35/18s from Discount Tire.
I m running the DWS+ on my stock wheel, but they dont have the exact size matched, just one step taller in the profile. Good ride quality plus look better by filling up thw wheel well a tiny bit more. i highly recommend them. ?would you guys recommend the dws06+/non+ with the stock wheel config? 245/30/20?
Also I know PS4S is highly regarded sports/summer tires, so what would make 1 choose the DWS06 vs PS4S other than budget? Thanks!
