Yes, they have a clearcoat finish, which gives is glossy "wet" look. Sorry I didn't mention that.

No, they only come with the clearcoat. Honestly, it's the way to go to protect that dry carbon, but I understand if you just want the matte/dry look.

Finally bit the bullet and ordered a set. Really hoping they're the full carbon mold.

Mirror caps came in. One appears to be slightly more imperfect than the other (2nd pic - passenger side), so we’ll see how fitment is. One of the tabs in crooked and seems to be a ‘dimple’ on the top. Will update after install

Dude it sounds like you are blasting this vendor. They literally give coupon codes on this thread, kinda what it’s for. And anything hand made may have some imperfections.

Yes, sometimes there are very slight imperfections in these hand-laid carbon fiber products. Same deal from any manufacturer. However, if there any fitment issues, please let us know.

Ok I installed these today. PITA if you ask me, but it's not so much product design as much as it is poor design from Honda.
Notes:
-bottom tab is super hard to pop out. Im impatient and its cheap plastic so I just broke the tabs on both sides. I tried everything and they just wouldn't pop out
-passenger side CF cap was more difficult to install, but it was also the one with a slightly crooked tab
-had most trouble with the damn actuator rods and grommets etc. took me forever to figure out how to re-engage them. on the driver's side the o-ring fell out and was hard to place back on. passenger side wasn't as bad, but had to remove grommets and re-install the rods then pop them back in
Overall fitment is good. Highly recommend product if you want to go thru the PITA install process. I watched multiple videos and it was still a bitch.
