I have been a member for awhile since I had my 2017 civic sport I dropped out of the scence for a few years but I'm back! I just purchased a 2018 type r but I'm looking for help/info. I'm wondering about hondata and what pre-tunes they have available? the car I purchased has prl intercooler high volume intake catted down pipe milltek exhaust as far as performance goes thing is he didnt have a hondata with all this. I have knowledge of hondata and have used them before just curious before I buy on and I know I need one asap

To be honest, I'm surprised you're not throwing codes with the DP and HVI intake. But those you'll definitely want a tune for. Hondata or KTuner up to you. Hondata has some really nice additional features to it over KTuner. Though some have said that KTuner runs cooler than Hondata on their base maps. Congrats on the car BTW!

Does it run poorly? Does it feel like it needs a tune? Perhaps it has a tune on there already?

You can tell in 2nd gear it doesnt pull hard.....but until I get a flash I wont be doing anything with it
