Got some wire loom from Amazon and cleaned up the power wire in the engine bay. Fuse is screwed to existing wire management bracket. Looks almost factory now.

What gauge wire did you used? Also can you take a pic of the splice you did at the factory amp location so I can get an idea where you cut the wire to reroute the signal to the amp and back to the speaker wires.

With the new amp and DSP, does the front speaker mids rumble now? I swear at factory and even with JL speaker upgrades, it still doesn't boom like my stock speakers on my Toyota Prius.

With the dsp/amp and the Hertz legends running active, I almost don't need a sub. Yes, it's loud and very clear, I love the mid bass from these speakers. Wiring is 4 gauge and I cut and soldered about 5 inches from the factory harness. Come to Austin and check it out.

For the smart cord, utility knife and hot glue skills!

@raytrix what amp are you using for your mids? Do the doors have sound treatment? I think a lot of work has to be done on our civics to get clean, loud sound.

- Add density to the thin ass doors with dynomat type material for better bass
- tune the stock signal
- decent amp to power your speakers

How were the hertz mpks? I know the legends are great but thats a little out of my range. I was looking at the 165s or the 163.3. Did they sound good as well?
