Hi guys,
I am going to buy cash the 2017 civic sedan EX new, in Texas, Lubbock county area. I've asked several dealers and the lowest OTD quote was $21,999. The car sale price itself is $20,422, doc fee $150, and other fees $108. Texas sale tax is at 6.25%.
Upon hours of research seems to indicate that the EX's sale price in my area can be as low as $19,163 (TrueCar), which will result in OTD of $20,540.
Based on that, I am planning on setting $21,000 as my price ceiling. Thoughts? Please advice, and even better if you have bought the same model and can tell me your sale price and OTD.
Thanks!!!
