Little update! I purchased some Titan 7 forged wheels. 18x9.5 +22 18.9 pounds

Can’t wait to get these on but I’m just waiting on BC racing to finish up their coilovers for my car! Honda hack is pretty dope too, and very easy process to follow to install it.

I ended up selling my mishimoto Intake. I purchased a 27won Intake. It was a cooler looking design and makes better power compared to the mishimoto!

Installed my wheels today! Such a huge difference weighing half the amount of weight as the oem wheel. All I need is my suspension now!

How’s the sound levels between the two intakes? I have the mishimoto and I will say the 27won looks much nicer.

How easy of an install was it (or how many extra stocks parts did you have to remove) going from the mishimoto to the 27won?

I can say the mishimoto one was slightly louder! But this 27won is giving you slightly extra horsepower non tuned compared to the mishimoto. And tuned obviously better numbers still compared to the mishi. It’s also a cold air so it’s better for our turbo setup to get that cold air compared to the hot air mishi was delivering! 27won has this unique sound tho from the intake sounds cool!

The installation took way longer compared to the the mishi. Mishi took me like 25 mins. With the 27won you gonna remove the lower factory box. So that means jacking up the car and removing the under tray. But the trick I used here was removing some of it from the right side of it. So I can have enough room to remove the oem lower air box. That def saved me some time. I got it in, in maybe 40 mins.

Just hit 3700 miles and did my first oil change! I went with amsoil 0w20 signature series. I love ams oil and highly approve!

Got some free items from mishimoto for the car.
- Magnetic Drain Plug
- Hoonigan Oil Cap

The Car started up super fast and smooth and sounded quieter then whatever Honda had in before. But this has happen in my other cars my motors always seem quieter then prevously used oils and started up quicker. I’m still waiting on BC Racing to finish up their coilovers so I can finally lower my car. Also gonna powdercoat my wheels a dope color stay tuned!

I like the wheels, but my OCD would drive me crazy with the wheels extending past the wheel well. I know it is a stupid question, but why do the extend past? Are they wider rims than the OEM rims?

Lol yes they are wider then the oem wheel. 18x9.5 +22. When BC racing releases their coilover I will be able to run front camber and just purchase my rear camber at that. Id adjust it to fit into the wheel well. About -1.5 front maybe -2 in the rear. I will roll and pull my fenders slightly too so it can get in their comfortably. A wider wheel gives you better traction. These wheels also weigh 18.9 pounds which is also half the amount of weight. To each is own of course but I usually have my wheels this wide its my style.

Finally gave in and got my clear turn singal lights! I also ordered typeRleds.com led singal bulbs! These things are amazing and light up really well!

New update of some progress on my si!

I purchased the rear “LED X” from typerleds.com I love them they are awesome! Nice and bright the way I wanted.

I also ordered and installed wearelikewise shifter extender and shift knob

I was going to go with BC Racing Coilovers but they are still u sure on the progress/ETA of that kit. So I decided to go a different route and do air suspension! I purchased airlift 3P and I finishing off paying my bags so they can send me over those. So hopefully by the end of August I can have my air suspension installed!

My girlfriend just picked up K tuner V2 for me from xenocron in upstate NY. Can’t wait to set it up and throw a basemap in there. I will for the first time be hitting a drag strip this Sunday! I’ll post pictures and time slip of how I did haha! I def will like to do my Downpipe/frontpipe, exhaust, and E85 but my next mod will def be the clutch and some acuity parts so I don’t have to every worry about that again haha.

Man I must say K tuner made a great difference! I installed there 19.5/23 basemap and the car just feels so much better. Gas mileage improved slightly as long as the car is under 3k lol. But in sport using that 23psi I do waste fuel! Can’t wait for some bolt ons and a tune to see what this car really does!
