It's my first thread, so excuse me if it's not in the right section
Anyways, I had a 10th gen si on TSP stage 1, and I loved the car for what it was, more than enough fun on daily driving. However, there were just too many things I had to do to go for the 300+hp route, the weak clutch, weak rods... may even need a built engine... So, I just bit the bullet and traded for a new 2020 boost blue type r.
I have done my research, and a well tuned 400 hp. around 380 whp type r is the sweet spot I'm looking for. A 30% horsepower bump that FWD can handle with controllable launch.
I have seen people just change the intake and exhaust and a tune to achieve that, and I have seen the intercooler and FP, DP combo as well. To me, the front pipe and down pipe route makes the most sense, because for a health turbo charged engine, it's all about the inflow of air, and out flow of exhaust gas. I need to hear from you guys who have modded your type r for advices, before I order any parts. I have roughly $2500 in USD as budget for now.
