I'm almost ready to pull the trigger on some new rims for my 17 Hatchback (Polished Metal Metallic). Decided I'm going to keep the dark look of the car and go gloss black on the rims. Found a set I'm in love with, but need some opinions on matching these with a good tire.

The rims are Niche Misano M117 18x8 (+40 offset) and I think I'm going to pair them with some nice 235/40/R18 tires. Would these have any issues with rubbing or fitment? Anyone have a similar setup they could post pics of to give me an idea of what it would look like? I want to fill up the wheel wells for an aggressive look, but keep the ride comfortable since it's my DD.

Thanks in advance.

They should fit fine. Sport trims on the hatchback use 235/40-18 on 18x8 +50 offset wheels.

Forgot what thread it was on but someone one here is running Niche Misano M117 19x9.5 +35. Looked almost too big but he said he didn't have any problems at all. Would be awesome if you went with the 18s. Please post it up some pics after you slap them on.

The look of these wheels really complements the lines on the Civic :)
