This is super common for my car. The pebbles get trapped in the dust shield behind the brakes and make a loud high pitched squeak especially as Im driving around at low speeds.Any chance you've just got some pebbles or other nonsense trapped behind the heat shield? I've got a 2019 and on occasion need to pull the front wheels to clean that crap out. I'm not sure if the later models addressed that issue.
This is different. Its a low loud metal on metal grinding that I can feel transmitted from the brake pedal and feel the vibrations in my feet. It only comes on as im coming to a stop, especially if the wheel is turned. What I suspect is happening is that my pads are super low and the lip on my rotor is so aggressive that the metal part of the pad is coming into contact with the lip. It sounds similar to metal on metal scraping similar to if you run brake pads that are completely worn. However I have about 1-2mm of brake pad left.
It could ostensibly be something else, but it started when my pads got low, and I need to replace the pads and rotors anyways so we will see if that fixes it.
