Need help deciding tire size

I have a 19 sport touring hatch on the stock rim. I'm lookin at the michelin sport a/s 3+; either a 245/40 or a 245/45. Any opinions??

245/45 would throw your speedo off too much and make your car look odd IMO. Go with 245/40.

Both sizes physically fit the factory wheels however the 245/45R-18 is on the tall size and it may rub.
