Recommendations on tires. I use 18 * 9.5 + 38 wheels. I want to use Michelin 265 + 35 18 as3 +. Stock suspension. What are the circumstances. Will the rear fender be rubbed? For example, if the whole vehicle is full. Passing through sections with high and low fluctuations. Will it rub??Without considering lowering the suspension. Hope to find a perfect safety value

I'm using those tires in 265/35, stock suspension, very similar wheel at 18x9.5 +45. No where close to rubbing anywhere, there's enough space to drop the car on Swift's and be fine.

You will not rub with 265/35 on stock suspension. Lowered will rub on dips.

No those are 18s. I drive mine really hard, (even got the car a bit airborne, plus up on 2 wheels a few times...lol) and no sign of any rubbing. Honestly on stock height 19s would probably fill out the fenders better, but I'm going to stick with 18s

If I lower on h&r springs like I plan to eventually, it'll still be fine. Could add a tiny bit of negative rear camber to be safe, but I'll see (saving my money for the PRL turbo, a clutch and flywheel... And MAYBE the hondata fuel system) is going to put a huge dent in my savings. Waiting to see the results on the turbo upgrade to see where I go from there. Though as far as parts being expensive (and way overpriced) for the R, springs and rear camber arms are "super cheap".

I'm still thinking about 265 or 255. I don't know which one will be more advantageous.Yes .. There are too many good things in this car I want. And everything is expensive.

For 18s you'd either go 255/40 or 265/35. The 255/40 will be closer in diameter and circumference to the stock wheels/tires, but the 265s will obviously be wider, and still under 2% of what stock is. You generally don't want to go above or below 2% of what the stock tires diameter are. No real discernable advantage or disadvantage to either really, I just went with the wider tire. So I guess the larger contact patch is an advantage.

The Michelin PS a/s 3+ in 265 actually measure out to a hair over 270mm in their actual width
