Why aren't you happy with it? That would be my first question. As far as whether to trade for the hatch, that's your call based on your finances and your situation. No matter what, you're gonna lose money on the deal.

Remember that the Ex-T sedan and the Sport Touring Hatch are .6s off each other 0-60, with the Sedan winning at 6.6s. I don't know if the "sport look" is more important to you than actual times.

You want to trade it in for hatchback just for looks? While having the 1.5 turbo engine? I think this would be stupidity, just for the rear looks...

Go for it , you wanna be happy in what you drive. Hell you might wanna just spring for the SI , but either way you'll be spending lots of time in your car. So I say go for what makes you happy. But to each there own & that's just my 2 cents

Hey everyone, so I just bought a new Civic Sedan EX in February and am already regretting not getting a Sport Hatchback. I already owe about $5,000 less than what the car is actually worth so what would you all do? Would you go ahead and trade the Sedan in and get a Hatchback to be happy or would you stick with a car you're not happy with? Any advice would help!

Thanks
choose happiness.
depends on what ur financial situation is though. i have the hatch and prefer it over the si. =)
plus i like to mod and have a semi sleeper. and with a tune...dont blink!

In general, yes I think you should spend the money to get what you want and be happy.

However, at this point you may just want to wait for the '18s.

I don't understand why being underwater or not on the loan is a deciding factor for your choice to switch? Or quite frankly why it's so important for that matter. If you owe less than your car is worth now, then obviously there was a large downpayment to clear it so if anything that money will be sunk.

You had to drop the money for depreciation one way or another.
