I got the Interstate battery from Costco. .I heard Interstate is the gold standard for car batteries. It costs just over $100 in my case. Cheers,

Just bought 2 interstates from Costco. For the Tacoma and ES300. Will buy one for the CTR in the future.

We currently have WalMart MAXX batteries in four of our vehicles.:

'90 TransAm (Stored in Winter): Had decent luck with AC Delco batteries years ago. Not as much with an Optima Red Top. Bought a new MAXX battery in 2014. Free replacement battery in 2015 (original battery cost ~$90). 2-1/2 years later paid $65 for a replacement. 3 years later we got another free replacement battery.

'97 DelSol (Stored in Winter): New MAXX battery 2016. Free replacement MAXX 2 years ago.

'03 WRX (Driven Daily): Replaced original Subaru battery with two Optima Red Tops that lasted a total of 8 years. New MAXX battery 2014. Replaced with another MAXX ($112 after core refund) 6-1/2 years later per battery tester recommendation. Will keep old battery for spare as still some life left in it.

'08 Kia Sorento (Daily Driven): Original Kia battery lasted 7-1/2 years. Replaced with an oversized MAXX battery almost 6 years ago.

'18 Civic Type R (Stored in Winter) : Last time i checked battery life was at 82%. When the time comes i will install a MAXX battery if the required size is available.

Storage seems to be hard on battery life. I do start the stored cars a few times in the winter and use a Battery Tender when needed. Normal local temperatures range from 0 F in winter to 100 F in summer.

I will stick with the WalMart MAXX batteries unless i find something better. Hard to beat their warranty. Costco could be fine but it's 3 miles to the nearest WalMart and 30 miles to the nearest Costco. Also, in less populated areas there are a lot more WalMarts than Costcos.
