We picked up our White Orchid Pearl Si back on June 24th. We were originally looking at the EX-T models, but after testing driving an Si they had on the lot we both fell in love with it however they didn't have it in white. As luck had it they had one in transit on the way to the dealership. The dealer called as soon as it came and we looked at it before it ever hit the lot and put money down on it to hold it.

The day after picking the car up I took it into my shop and we wrapped the roof in gloss black. We also blacked out all the chrome trim above the windows with a matte black to match the rest of the trim around the windows.

I also removed the Civic text off the trunk lid.

Finally got around to having the windows tinted which really improved the look of the vehicle. I am very happy with how it is looking.

I just about have the exterior of the car where I want it. I need to order some smoked front marker lights yet and it should be just about good. I am also debating ordering a set of black wheels for it at some point.

Next on the list will be a thorough new car prep. I will be removing the wheels to clean them and apply a wheel coating on the faces and barrels. All surfaces of the exterior will also receive a coating. I will keep this thread updated as I make changes to the vehicle.

Car looks really good. How hard was it to wrap the window trim?

I really like the the blacked-out chrome trim.
Black film on the roof might look great on my Lunar Silver too.

Just to confirm ... the Civic emblem is held in place with adhesive only ... not pins?
If so, it's coming off my car.

It's really not that hard, it just takes awhile to do if you want it to look nice. If you have never done any vinyl work before you might have a bit of a hard time though. My buddy does vinyl work full time and rents my other bay from me. We did my trim and roof in a few hours.

Yes the Civic emblem is only held with adhesive. Should come off very easy.

The roof does a nice job breaking up all the white. Adds a nice contrast on the outside.

Was there any need to remove anything to wrap the chrome trim?
