My key fob battery died

I found a thread some place the last time this happen9but I cant find it how do I reprogram my fob with out any tools???

Changed the battery on my keyfob myself. Dont need any reprogramming.

Yeah the fob should not need to be programmed. And even if it does you would need Honda’s software to do it. Replace battery, make sure the sticker at the bottom of the battery is taken off. If it does not work after the replacement then head to the dealership. Try putting the key fob right next to the push to start button when starting it next time.

I dont have a push to start and no you don't need hondas software there is a way to do it with out I just domt remember the correct way to do it I'm hoping someone on here does

most fobs or keys its just a holding of the unlock and lock. have never tried for a honda but worth a shot

If there’s no screws, you have to pry it open. I’m unfamiliar with the lx key design where you start
