My garage door and my dumba$$ gouged the center black piece of the back edge if my spoiler, what options do I have?

I just got done telling my wife 20 minutes prior "damn that garage door is close to my spoiler when I park over here" and my dumbass forgot and closed the auto door and it caught the black center part and took a chunk out. The spoiler is white underneath if you were wondering.

What sort of things have you folks been doing? I have seen some people put vinyl on and I could smooth it out and do that, or just buy a new center piece

Could always replace the wing with an even BIGGER wing now

Nah but forreal, that sucks. I believe the black part of the wing might be a standalone part? Might be worth calling your dealer's parts department and seeing if they can help.

I think you gotta part out.
I agree. This is the only logical solution.

On a sidenote, there are a few wrecked type r's with good spoilers on car-part.com.

I included a pic...damage is all back edge so that flap might handle 98% of it

Oh man, that sucks but not as bad as I thought. A reputable body shop could fix that for substantially less than buying new or finding used.

I am not going to lie, it looked/was a lot worse to me when I did it, but after waking up and having a bit of coffee and an open mind, it really isn't that bad compared to the sound it made haha

Funny how a calmer mind works isn't it? Haha, I'm the same way.

I feel like a paint fill in and you won't even notice it that much

Repaint it and out a flap on. ? or if you want to go really crazy, sand down the paint, some bondo, and then respray it. ?
