Get the 1.5R tune! It’s amazing and is hands down the best modification.

Normally it's not my thing but I'm digging those red accents you've added. Very nice.

Thanks! I was on the fence initially but the red accents look great on the polished metal metallic.

so i pulled the trigger on the phearable 1.5R tune and so far with the limited time i’ve spent with the 15psi low boost setting the car definitely has more punch and is more fun to drive.

however i have a few questions i’m hoping my CVT guys can help me out with:

1. is it possible to program the LED shift lights on the ktuner unit to work with my paddle shifters?

2. does the phearable 1.5r tune play nice if i put the car into S and use the paddle shifters?

i will add a post to gtmans thread once i get some more time in with this new tune. loving it so far, wondering why the hell it took me so long. i feel like that seems to be the general consensus with people who tune their 1.5Ls

Enjoy. Yeah, I do understand why people hesitate to tune because they're concerned about warranty. But the thing is, and my thread bears this out --- tuning is pretty safe generally, especially on an OTS tune, driven "normally". Like I always say, 5 years is a long time to wait to actually enjoy your car. :D

As far as waiting to add your car to my thread that's fine. But it's best to add your car when you first tune and add new update posts along the way.

I love the KTuner, I run Phearable 1.5 on my Si and usually leave it in MAP2, the thing has some real get up and go now.

I also have a cvt sport hatchback running the 1.5R for about 26k miles now with a few bolt on mods. From my experience the paddle shifters do work pretty well with the tube. Just try and avoid doing hard launches from a stop and you should be fine.

You should be able to go into the KTuner program and set the shift lights to whatever RPM you want, so in theory yes they will work for paddles.

I have this mod list on my 1.5T CVT:
- 27WON Cold Air Intake System
- 27WON Turbo Inlet Pipe
- 27WON Intercooler
- 27WON downpipe

Also looking forward to have Phearable , but custom tune as I'm running Hondata. Will see what figures will get.

I’ve been looking to swap my front bumper from a 2017 sedan to a hatchback/si but am having trouble understanding what parts a need. I’ve seen multiple front lower grilles that are one piece and two piece designs. what type does your car use?

if i remember correctly, my OEM front lower grille was a one-piece that just popped in and out of the bumper. i replaced it with an Si one with part# 71102-TGG-A00 because for whatever reason the OEM sport touring front lip is ridiculously expensive and only mounts onto the sport touring front lower grille. I bought the Si front lower grille to mount an Si lip because those are much cheaper. The Si front lower grille was pretty much a 1:1 fitment and I didn't need to do any mods to my bumper. I hope this somewhat answers your question.
