Wanted to apologize for what seemed like a foolish decision on my behalf. A few days ago I posted that I was selling Crystal Black, to what according to someone on here seemed like an impulse buy.

I had to take a step back and actually think about it. I wanted this car since I was in Korea back in 2013-15 when I heard the car was coming to the states. So I saved to put down a fat down payment. Well the car released and dealers was selling it for 10 over MSRP. I could not justify the cost.

I had an opportunity to get a Tesla, but when I though about getting a Tesla it wasn’t because I was a fan. Like 10k over MSRP for the Type R I couldn’t justify the price. I’ve been a Honda fanatic since I could drive. If you see my profile I’ve owned a lot, and currently own three.

Ok long story short I’m keeping my cTR. Not for sale. It’s an amazing piece of engineering that I’ve wanted a long time to get. You’re not a fool if you sell yours, but I’d be one. Someone help me delete my post saying it’s for sale.

Glad you’ve changed your mind - I don’t think there is any car out there I would trade my R in for. And I’m talking about any car. I’ve never felt a car feel so connected to me. Even my last Civic didn’t have that. This one though... it speaks volumes to me.

Whatever it may be to everyone else, the Type R is MY car. If I want something else I’ll buy it alongside.

I actually became depressed when i had my accident not because I hurt the resale value, but because I couldn’t stand to see my car looking like that. Now I just can’t wait to get it back.

The model 3 is nice. I sat in one a few weeks ago that's owned by a coworker. Seats were the most comfortable I've ever sat in, in a car. I hope my next car will be a Tesla. Don't plan to ever sell my Type R though. It's too fun
