Just by having a manual transmission you make your car 90% less steal-able by noob car thieves :cool:

This discussion reminds me of my 7th Gen Civic HX I had when I first got married in '02. Bought it from a guy in the LA area. A year later my mechanic was doing some work on it and when he was done it wouldn't turn on. Starter was trying to start but engine would not turn over. Threw him for a loop. Searched and searchd and finally discovered an auxiliary fuel pump power switch hidden behind the glove box. Easy to access - just open the glove box - and it kills power to the fuel pump and completely disabled the car. I didn't have much use for it but I thought it was pretty clever. Don't know if it would work in these 10th gens. Mine was a '98.
