I purchased my Civic in December 2018 for $23K. Car has ~10,500 miles right now and www.Vroom.com is telling me it's worth $20K. Used car prices are gold right now! Unfortunately, not really in a market for a car right now (nothing else I want to buy). But if you want to get a new whip, now is the time!

You mean now is the time to sell. If you are getting offered that much... it means that the person buying that car would need to pay more than that for it.

Yep exactly - now is the time to sell / trade-in. My civic is my only car - but there's really nothing I want to trade in for, so I'll hold on to it for a while longer.

Interesting that it's a $3k difference. I wonder why/how Vroom is able to offer such a high price.

Vroom is using investor money to build inventory. Carvana was offering like $500 over KBB for my Civic when they first started.
