Here I'll post pics along the way of my car, can't really call it a build since they're so new there's not a lot out for them yet. I purchased the car on 11/18 from Muller Honda in Highland park illinois. I asked the dealer not to touch the car as I didn't want any scratches or swirls.

He car sat while I found time to get it detailed to my liking, and while I researched best methods to protect/wax a new black car. I realized after a few days everyone has their own way, so I choose to go with products that were readily available. Meguiars it was I started with a pressure wash and used wax and dry spray. After that I uses there ultimateliquid polish to remove the minor swirls and haze. After the ultimate liquid polish I followed up with 1 coat of ultimate liquid wax and lastly 1 coat of ultimate wax. All steps were done by hand using a new microfiber towel every few panels. Picked a set of weather tech mats, not to thrilled with the fitment along the rockers but I'm not going to complain. Looks fantastic! I love that you detailed it yourself instead of having the dealership do it. I did the same with my WOP EX-T sedan.

Got my windows tinted today turned out great best tint guy in northern illinois hands down! We even took the spoiler off the car to tint it. I'm gonna make a how to video on removing it. 35% on windshield and 15% on everything else llimar tint. Next is clear marker lights and plasti dip the emblems.

Damn that's nice! Also way to go on removing the rear spoiler to tint most (even professionals) would have halfassed a way around it. Cudos on going the extra mile!

Thanks! I'm a little OCD and my tint guy is truly a professional! He doesn't cut ant corners at all, tint is done by hand no computer cut non sense.

Switched from LED low beams to 5k opt7 low beams and 3k opt7 fog lights. Next is lowering springs hopefully sooner than later, I've always had excellent results achieving the ride quality and look I've been after with Eibach products.

Forgot about this thread, I installed a set of Eibach sport line springs. Great ride quality, pretty simple install especially the rears.

Sweet! Eibach offers and recommends the alignment kit as well did you purchase/install? Sportline not too low compared to Pro-kit in your opinion? Still deciding on which kit to go with???

I've never done a camber kit, I will be doing an alignment this friday. Oddly enough I've never had bad luck ruining tires as long as the toe is set correctly and tires are rotated on a regular basis I've always been fine. My 08 Si I had 45k on the stock michelin tires and 30k were on dropped springs and the tires were barely worn. However I do majority of my miles on the highway at 65-75mph. I can't speak on the pro kit drop as I'm not sure on the newer civics, but generally speaking I think sport line is about 1/4" -1/2" lower than pro kit. Hope this hekps
