I am trying to figure out what can be wrong with it before spending money that I really don’t have at the moment. When I drive my 2016 Honda Civic ex on the freeway it feels like it’s swerves as if the wind was strong. I lifted the car up an didn’t notice anything cracked or torn along those lines. I hear a rattling sound in the inside by the glove compartment when I drive it and when I hit about 60-65mph it will feel like I’m going to lose it. I took it to the dealer for test drive and it didn’t swerve or anything when the technician was inside with me, right after I took it to a local mechanic I was referred to and he lifted it and looked at it an by what I told him , he right away said it was the rack and pinion. Is this something that can be replaced at home?
that’s the sound it makes on the inside.
