The only "performance upgrade" I've made to the car is using the Pedal Commander.
In Sport mode +2 im getting 7.6 seconds.

Idk whats normal for the car, anyone else using Pedal Commander?

What exactly does Pedal Commander do besides adjust throttle response? I can't see it making a whole lot of difference in 0 to 60 times, but it probably improves the feel a lot over stock.

Pedal Commander doesn't do anything to increase power. The only thing it does is improve the throttle response. Typically if you push down the throttle pedal 25 percent, you will get 25 percent of engine power. Pedal Commander just makes it so that if you push the throttle pedal 25 percent, you get 50 percent engine power.

So if you put the throttle to 100% you get 125% throttle and therefore 25% more HP!! Why haven't we all started using this??? ?

Yea I've owned the car for less than a month and I enjoy driving it. I do think the Pedal Commander does make the car FEEL faster but idk what more I can do with my current setup other than put the pedal to the floor lol

Most of us are with you....well, actually most of us are in the low 7's. I think to get the better numbers, you need to abuse the CVT by getting the revs up with your foot on the brake. I'd rather not do that.

Seems like a fairly easy way to blow up the motor.

What are you using to measure the time?

Useful facts: Did you know?

1. Accelerating a civic hatchback ST with one good driver and a full tank to 60 mph in 7 seconds requires an average wheel power of about 100 hp assuming no tire slipping. (Of course in practice, the power is smaller initially, and then larger than 100 hp, up to the max power at the end).

2. The Grand Canyon can hold 900 trillion footballs.

Between driver mod, pedal commander bogging down the CVT and a not to accurate app gauging 0-60, probably why your times are so slow.

As per MotorTrend.
