Muffler delete

What do u guys think if i do a muffler delete on a 2018 civic 2.0 cvt? Im borrowing a tool from work and i wanna know if anybody did the same.

There’s a lot of threads on the forum about this if you search.

you’ll be cutting the exhaust at the axle and welding a new pipe onto it. Don’t not just chop the muffler off

Yup, I chopped my piping around the axle. Bought some 2" piping, hanger, and clamps from Autozone, a glasspack muffler from Jegs, a splitter from Amazon, and some 4" tips from Autozone. Easy DIY muffler delete. Sounds great! The glasspack eliminates the drone.

With the stock downpipe and resonator it wont be insanely loud. Whether or not it sounds good is up to debate.

True, I feel the 1.5T sounds better with a muffler delete than the 2.0. I just noticed the OP has a 2.0, so I'm not sure what I'd recommend.

There are several videos, here and on youtube, with just a resonator delete. I think it sounds good, but others might say it's still too quiet.
