I just bought the oem mud guards . When I think of a "flap" I think if just a flat piece of plastic. I like how the mud guards are form fitted.

Is that a Sport hatch? I thought the oem splash guards were incompatible with the Sport model due to the skirts?

Correct it is a Ex model with aftermarket skirts.

The oem mudflaps won't bolt straight onto the sport models due to the stock side skirts.

But a Dremel and 10 min can fix that .

I just prefer the molded fit shape of the mud Guards. Flat plastic flaps just look too basic to me

Is that mudguard from the sedan version, or is designed only for the hatch?

The dealer installed OEM mud guards on mine prior to purchase.

Bought cheap ones before I bought my ex and the dealer included them in the sale

I'd be so down for those mudguards if they fit and also looked good on a Sport Touring..
I have never installed mud flaps in any vehicle. If the dealer hadn't installed these before I looked, I probably wouldn't have them now. They do actually look good, though. I must be getting old.

Do the mounting holes line up just fine, too?

I had OEM mud flaps on my EP3 and I kinda miss them.

The OEM Mudflaps for a EX will bolt directly on. One bolt on each of rear mudflaps requires a extra hole drilled. SUPER simple to do tho. or just dont put it in and they seat perfectly and dont shake or want to rip off. its more of a "extra" fastener. You could go even crazier and add a strip of double sided tape and they will 100% never even budge a centimeter.

If putting OEM mudflaps onto the sport. they still will bolt directly on. but you will have to dremel (cut out) small sections to snug around the sport skirts.
