Does anyone have any solid evidence that they do anything other than vibrate the car? I hear supposedly that cars lose some torque from the stock mounts absorbing power. Has anyone ever tested on a dyno if they help or is it just marketing?

Motor mounts is pretty much the suspension to the motor which puts the power to the ground. If you get the mounts entirely to do a dyno, you'll just have a slight better curve graph from the initial full throttle. So yes, motor mounts do improve performance... on the track.
