Wow! Entirely different car on 265/35/18 PS4S! No more wheel hop or wheel spin! Just hooks and goes. I feel no added numbness and definitely no added torque steer with the Motegi 18x9.5 +45.

Those stock rims are frigin heavy.

Throwing up some photos below. LOVE the look of the 18s over the 20s... also the Motegi are more affordable for us Michigan pothole veterans.

Looks great! I definitely think that's the size wheel/tire combo I'm going with.

Nice, where did you get the rims from and how much?
Any clearance issues going with wider tires?

Stock ride height. Only difference so far that I've noticed is a slight more feeling (possible unbalance) in the steering wheel around 80mph. I'll test it more this week and if it seems off take it back up to discount. I had them mount and balance but I did the install and hubs since I don't trust them to mark up the rims.

Motegi Rims were purchased off of Ebay for $668.96 shipped
PS4S were purchased from TireRack for $881.28 shipped (included the two year road hazard warranty)
Discount mounting and balancing for $80.00

I also run the gorilla lugs and ceramic coated the entire rim.

How close are you to rubbing? Ive been considering doing these wheels but with 265/40/18 tires. Id just like a little more tire. Scraped my wheeld a few times, baltimore roads are terrible.

I've yet to scrap in michigan's potholes... and our roads are so bad that I've already fractured my windshield from chunks of road being thrown at it... sigh.

From what I remember the original tester was running 265/40/18 without any issues.

I called up one of the Sellers on eBay to get the wheel weight. He said they were 37lbs, each in this size.

Oh god no... shipping weight was 27 pounds which includes the packaging cardboard etc.

If I get some time today I’ll get you a weight with a tire. I was able to one hand these. I couldn’t one hand the stock wheels

I've seen Jrose29's 133's and it's a very nice look on the car.

As for potholes ... Michigan wins. I used to think Montreal was the worst, but in Montreal the potholes are on the side roads so they're avoidable. In Michigan, it's the highways. You don't need Highway Patrol, nobody is going to speed on the roads I was on. What you need is a Comfort+ setting!

I'm putting my 245/40 x 18's back on for my trip to Gingerman next month :D.

Through them on the scale today and with tires everything else etc was 52.3 pounds which I believe is identical to stock tires rims etc.
