Love your videos man! Also I sniped a brand new set of morimotos on ebay for cheaper. Was the only set too, got them ppf wrapped and picked them up today. Was also wondering how your racebred front splitter is holding up ? I just got mine and the 1 inch version too, waiting on the brackets.

That's awesome man, I'm glad you found a set.

The Splitter is still holding up great. I've scraped it quite a few times and it still works perfectly.

Just found out yesterday that the morimoto civic headlights were discontinued. What a bummer.

That morimoto are very under performing especially for the price.

I wonder if we can trade in the old ones for v2 since they offered a 5 or 10 year warranty on. I forgot whether it was 5 or 10 years....but I know the warranty on them were long. I'm glad I got mine off twostep. There has to be a reason why they stopped it all suddenly. It's the best looking headlight for 10th gen civics. Should have came that way.

I think Morimoto has a trade-in program for headlights. The only reason that I can think of that they would stop making the V1 is the light output isn’t that great. Yes they are the best looking headlights for 10th gen civics, but one complaint I consistently hear is that the light output is not that good.

They are decent but I do agree for the price people only paid for them cause they were the best looking option. Sadly their trade in program is only recently if you purchased from 2021 or earlier you don't qualify which is pretty stupid.

I don’t know how the oem leds or led retrofits for the halogens perform but I just replaced my vland oem led style headlights with a set of used morimotos and the morimotos have a wider spread and are about the same brightness as the vlands. They do have a sharp cutoff line instead of the blended line that the vlands had though. I think the vlands had brighter high beams but the low beams seem better on the morimotos to me. It’s a minor difference though. Both sets of headlights perform so much better than my oem halogens. I’m super happy with the purchase. Again I haven’t compared them to oem leds or led retrofitted halogens but they perform very similar to the vlands I had.

I just put in a ticket for my XB headlights. Discoloration and possible moisture inside the housing. Fortunately, there's no electrical issues.
If these are end of production not sure what the solution may be.

I wonder what happens to your 5 year warranty? Goes down the trash? Spending 1k and believing they would stick with their warranty and product?
