Morimoto xb headlight availability

Just to update everyone on my warranty with my current XB lights. The contact with Morimito realized I didn't order the lights direct through them so they informed me I needed to contact the seller. A bit of back and forth, they stated a newer model and "similar to the new style civic headlights" (11th gen) is a few months away and if I was willing to wait it out for those instead.

Of course, I'm waiting. Not sure if I'll need to swap back to OEM lights (halogen, ugh) in the meantime or not yet.

Any update from Morimoto yet on the new headlights coming out?

If they come out with something like the OEM 11th gen headlights I'll be very disappointed, there's already something like that from Archaic. I loved the style they came out with initially, however it was too expensive for the quality they were offering based on fellow member's experiences. Hopefully it is more aggressive than what is currently out there.

I agree that if the new V2 Morimoto headlights looks anything like the new 11th gen headlights I’ll be disappointed as well. I was told by Morimoto that the new V2 will look better than the V1. The look/style of the V1 is so nice and aggressive. It’s like OEM+ style. Im hoping the new V2 looks similar to the OEM+ style of the V1 with improvements

I was wondering why I couldn't find the morimotos, I have them on my car and a friend wanted me to locate a set for him. Just an FYI for a lot of the folks on here concerned about output that don't own a set, the output is totally fine. It was slightly not as good as my OEM FK8 led lights, but still plenty good enough to see at night with and I find them to be comparable to other factory equiped LED headlights.
