I just picked up a new to me 2017 touring sedan last weekend, and am absolutely loving it. The first few days, it was fun to see what it could do, but clearly took a hit in fuel economy. I’ve found if I keep the rpms under 2000, I can get between 40-41.5 mpg on my daily commute. My previous ‘11 Sonata limited would get 26-27 pretty consistently on the same commute. Mixed city/country two lane highways. Great car to drive, plenty of power when I wanted it. But after 9 years and 113k miles, it was time for something new.
Long story short, I’m wondering if there are mods that have shown to improve the already fantastic fuel economy of the 1.5L
