Honda engineers made the CTR amazingly neutral but you’ll never totally get away from FWD and torque steer. That’s why at certain power levels, it makes more sense to be AWD or RWD. Drive either and you’ll see why people “graduate” to those platforms when they want to make big power.

I have/had similar feelings especially once I upgraded the power and gunning it up hills on curves from a stop or low speeds and acceleration. I have to say that in the last few months that has improved but I have done a number of things to my car. One of which was window welding my RMM. I think that alone might possibly be what improved my car the most but it might also be something with my tune adjustments made affecting my power at certain points. I just don't feel as squirrely as I was about 6 months ago in the same situations. But yeah it did get pretty scary in the past where I thought I was going to lose control.

I know that 306/316hp is on the upper end for FWD cars, but I was under the impression that Honda engineered the front suspension to eliminate torque steer during acceleration. During WOT, there are minor tugs at the steering wheel and the car wants to go left-right-left ever so slightly. It's not bad but I have to consciously hold the wheel straight, takes the fun out of it. Like when I'm merging onto the highway from a rolling start, and just take it up to like 80-90 WOT, I can feel the steering wheel tugging a bit throughout the acceleration. From behind, I wonder if other drivers see the car zigzagging a little.

Either my expectations are unrealistic and not all torque steer is supposed to be eliminated, or maybe I have a factory freak of an engine? My 2021 is stock. Been like this since the beginning.
It sounds normal to me, but nothing you can't change with an aftermarket mount & better tires. The car in stock form will always better than any other FWD but it has a bit of wheel spin.
