Anyone know where I can source the lower o2 extension needed to install this dp? In need of the part number or something that will work.

That's no good. All I know to tell you is that they are included with the PRL downpipes but that does not help much. You may want to check with Milltek directly if you have not already, they are good to deal with in my experience.

That's one CHONKY looking cable.
Thanks for the part #

Honda Civic 10th gen Milltek Downpipe lower O2 Extension needed 1682709337621

Just FYI...

RV6 include an O2 extension cable (at least on the 2.0L K20C2 downpipe) that is much slimmer, like it has a nice braided loom. One might be able to convince them to sell you one...

Or you could buy the Honda part and then re-sheath it in something less STIFF

Alternatively it should be pretty easy to make your own extension, just find the connector pigtails, then crimp or solder, sheath it. I haven't searched, but good chances one can find those on http://www.autolumination.com ... used them for a few lighting applications with good success.

At first I thought you wanted a port spacer or something, like to standoff the 02 sensor from the pipe a bit. There are probably options for that too, and RV6 also uses a little 90 degree elbow on the product above (maybe others)... again maybe they would sell one if asked.

I took a stab at it..

My upper oxygen sensor on my K20C2 the individual wires (there are like 5-6 total) measure about 1mm each with my calipers - that includes the plastic jacket around the actual metal wire of course... I didn't measure my lower, but visually it looks the same wiring.

If i compare this size to some Channellock wire strippers that I have, that size looks to correspond to the 18 gauge hole.

That ALSO corresponds to what this calculator gives me for 1mm diameter

https://www.digikey.ca/en/resources/conversion-calculators/conversion-calculator-wire-size

CAVEAT: I have no idea if this is a valid calculation, or if wire gauge refers only to the (metal) wire content and so whether you have another +5 or +50mm of plastic / other shield on top of that...

ALSO CAVEAT: Check that your Type R uses the same oxygen sensor as mine on HondaPartsNow ('16 LX sedan, HCM, MT) ... I would guess they are all probably the same bog standard part, or at least wiring the same size BUT...

Hope that helps a little.

Thanks so much bro - I wound up sourcing that adapter local - be here Tuesday. Just going to run with it. Luckily the ATL warehouse is close by so everything my local dealer grabs from there is overnight. I hate waiting lol.

Update - The unit Mentioned above works like a champ and gave me room to route it a little futher away from the DP as well.
Also MIlltek pinged me back - they have the extensions availble through them. In my case I would have rather gone through milltek but seing as how my car has been down since Friday I went with the dealship. Either one will work.

Can't you just disable the secondary O2 sensor in Hondata so you don't throw a code??
