Just put these on and they seem really loud on the highway. Louder than the stock conti Pros. People rave about this tire so it's a little disappointing.

Grip seems good and ride is ok (235/45R17), and they weren't very expensive.

Thanks for sharing - that does not sound good. Might just go back with OEMs when I have to change out the factory tires when they wear out someday then.

How about the conti extremecontact dws 06? Heard those are really good and supposedly less noise than the michelin PS A/S 3+

I've got DWS06 on my car and I like them, although they seem a little noisy. I don't have much to compare it to, I changed out my wheels/tires almost immediately, but I imagine the stock tires are quieter. The A/S 3+ are grippier than the DWS06 and literally at the opposite end of the All-Season tire spectrum from the stock tires, so being much noisier should be expected.

Drove them on back roads (rainy back roads) for the first time, very happy with the feel and grip.

Tires are always a trade-off, guess noise is the downside to these.

Using Michellin PS A/S 3+ here. you guys are right, its a little bit loud. but the pros on this tires is much better than the other competitor tires on the same level. Handling and response is much better, comfort is much better (If your low profile - Using 245/35R19) and thread life is more better. i guess you cant have it all...

I have these tires on 235/45R17 as well. I find the grip and corner amazing. But yeah, it can get noisy on the highway but I like white noise so doesn't bother me much haha. Decent trade off for the perks you get.

OEM Conti's are a Touring tire aka quieter, performance As's will always make more noise but will handle substantially better, the Conti's suck for performance. The new Nissan Sentra NISMO comes with the Pilot AS3+ as OEM, they did their homework from the get go!!!!!

Think the tires have quieted down a little after a 1000 miles.

Sentra Nismo looks kinda cool.
