Weird ... according to the compressor map the stock SI turbo would be maxed out on 230HP ( 0.14³m/s ) at a PR of 2.6 ( 24psi boost )
The upgrade turbo could reach 300hp (0.18m³/s) but need to be pushed to the choke line.
280Hp max would be best .Would love to get this turbo in the future.

Stock turbo maxes out around 284whp on fbo and flex fuel custom tuned.

I know, but according to that "stock" turbo map from MHI it would never go above 230...

Yeah those maps don't mean much lol it's just flow rate. Plus we are talking about Si turbo not non si which doesn't make as much power. Check out page 3 of the stock Si turbo whp and wtq tuned by DRob maxed out with pump and flex fuel. If stock makes that much then this larger turbo will obviously make more.

Yeah i've seen that ,those compressor maps are correct . But now that i'm thinking about it it just means that the VE of these engines is 100% or more to be able to make more hp with less flow.
So the upgrade turbo could make over 300 hp.

I’d say it’ll make close to 300hp maxed out

Yeah your right on torque coming in a lot later but what's the point in having a big turbo if you aren't going to push it a little over low boost.
Well not necessarily, you can push the 25psi out of the big turbo with out stressing the motor compared to the small turbos at the end of the day it’s will be better to have the big turbo kit because you can make 300hp without going flex fuel and the point it being easier on internals imo

I might get it.
My goal for my car is 300hp.

I’m etuned by Derek atm. I’m
Sure he’d love the chance to tune this turbo.

I might have to get a type r retro clutch in first before anything though. Still riding the stock clutch FBO. Haven’t slipped.......yet.

If the stock Si turbo makes 284whp Maxed out (that is aprox. 326hp)
Then the upgrade turbo would go beyond that...

It's possible but the wheels are a lot smaller than that of W1's and they max out around 340whp on fbo, E35-40 custom tuned. But if your not an Si I wouldn't recommend getting this turbo just because the wheels are a little large but torque still comes in pretty early based on wheel design and blade count. Unless you have your tuner limit torque which is no fun to do anyways.

If it can work on the Si, it can work on a non-Si. What does the wheels being a 'little large' have to do with anything?

Somebody get this turbo from LilToTo17.

Well will be able make some power but still limited in torque. Also I got connections with Full Race and Mitsubishi. He hatch sport cvt or manual is limited around the same amount of torque
