Okay cool thanks for the helpRock(s) stuck in front brake dust shield. You can try knocking at the shield or just removing the wheel and inspecting behind the disc rotor.
Yeah that's the worst sound lolol. Happens in the Type R quite frequently - you can bend the shield out a little bit so they tend to drop out.Okay cool thanks for the help
I love in a new development and it’s like a construction zone still so that actually makes a lot of sense lolYeah that's the worst sound lolol. Happens in the Type R quite frequently - you can bend the shield out a little bit so they tend to drop out.
OP is 2020 so he has the newer rotors.I have never had this happened. Must be a function of the older cross drilled rotors catching road debris.
It is like a banshee scaping itself across a blackboard sometimes. You know, I actually like the fact that the car does not have a loud exhaust and then attracts everyone's attention in the neighborhood, but get a rock in that dust shield and people know you are coming a mile away, heh.Dude, mine has been doing this for weeks and for the life of me I could not figure out what it was. Thanks for this.
Bro it was absolutely nerve racking. I got out of the car expecting the exhaust to be dragging down my driveway lolAt this point, this might as well be the rite of passage for anyone owning the type r.
