I'm thinking of doing a chrome delete on my 2018 Civic Hatchback, just the top of the windows. I figured it would make sense to match the texture of the black plastic that already exists on the door. I can't really tell the difference between matte and satin, does anyone know if the existing plastic trim on the civic doors are matte or satin?

Satin would be a better match. Matte is completely flat, whereas satin has a slight gloss to it and looks more like the factory plastics finish. I'd go with full gloss though. Mine came with it and it looks great and follows the gloss black accents of the front grill, fake grill sections on the front and back etc.

I'd go with the satin. Matches the trim under the windows nicely.
