Anytime I post a Want To Buy, I get scammers in my inbox. It never fails... It is easy to tell that they are a scammer right away.. Usually the user has been a member only a day or two. Their car listed is usually not a 10th Gen Civic, or they give you a phone number and an email which usually looks fishy. I researched the phone number on Google. The number lead me to other Forums where the user was banned, gave a different name and a different Email. Also look at their most recent activity. It shows them active on other WTB postings too. Be smart, do your homework. Use PayPal or some other payment system that offers you protection.. Venmo and Cashapp etc. are trash.

They are lurking everywhere these days it seems. Gotta love the ones who have stuff for sale and want a cash app for deposit.

Be careful out there. when possible support the vendors of the site.

If they're on here trying to sell with no post history then they are most likely a scammer. Hell I don't trust people who are looking to buy who have no post history and aren't local.
