Any concerns or requested potential revisions/updates can you guys please email them to me? It's honestly impossible for me to facilitate these requests off the forum, I have to get these requests to the proper team of people here!
Got it!

Ill give you my version of the tune LOL! Even in normal mode my car floats over 24 psi of boost. For me, the sport button isn't buffering the tune. I'm pretty much in sport mode all the time, even though I have the standard tune. MAP is looking into whats happening rn

Here's what we found out! Our tune in standard mode, and sport mode functions like normal. Meaning that it raises the target boost level by the factory determined level of 2 PSI, so you should notice a very minimal increase in boost levels when switching to sport mode. In regards to safety there isn't any there as the ECU compensates.

Well that map seemed ok for the drive home and I got on it quite a few times. But then on the way into work while under light acceleration in traffic the car bucked and threw a code for overboost. For now I am back to the Hondata +9 sport map with scramble on sport mode. I've updated the civicx thread with more info and data logs. Let me know if there is any additional detail needed.

Regards,

Micah
Any update?

Waiting on this update also.

No issues with my tune so far. I'm over 1000 miles with the Stage 1 tune, no clutch issues.

In regards to yours we aren't seeing anything in the datalog that indicates any kind of bucking, any chance you could replicate the issue and just email me the Hondata Datalog file direct?

Do the torque tables on the normal torque limit for the 2017 Civic SI on +9 Hondata tune need to be increased higher from the set 250?
Also have these other settings set already.

Not unless you have an aftermarket clutch. The stock clutch is notorious for slipping after applying over 250lbs of torque.

Since I have an aftermarket clutch, what do you recommend for increasing the 250lbs to?

I'd say 300 and test it out. These cars have proven to be able to handle insane numbers.
Yeah I was just wondering what to set it at because my car has: 27Won Cold Air Intake, Full 3" RV6 Catless Downpipe and Frontpipe , 3" Custom Type R aFe Power Takeda Exhaust, Fine Line Imports Tuned, FX350 Clutch, PRL SS Clutch Line and running only on 91 Octane.

Also I noticed the +9 psi tune for both normal and sport on the SI the torque is set at 655 which should be suffice if they set it like that as is. Another thing is how do people get overboost problems?
