I've been saying this little 1.5T is the unsung hero of the new generation since I bought my 10th.

It almost makes me wish I had one to work with ...

You guys are killing it, keep up the good work!

Depends on how far. Our car currently runs to about 8k and we haven't had any issues in terms of mechanical failure... I believe that is likely the result of everything being very lightweight.

Awesome. Theoretically, if one wanted to increase the redline safely, would there be anything else besides the valve springs that would be needed?

HEHEHEHE... me too... but our background here was always more about building engines and making power... over track outings... so we have been enjoying a mix of BOTH right now!

Very nice! Cant wait to see that 500whp barrier broken!

Daaaaaamn Gina!!! you guys are doing some serious work.

After hearing about your tranny issue, as well another guy on the facebook group with the same issue, now im scared of blowing my trans since i'm aiming for 350 WHP after the turbo goes in. I dont plan on tracking my car and am usually a pretty timid driver, with the exception of the occasional rolling WOT pull. Any plans on tranny development in the future?

Transmission came apart and we are looking into solutions as we speak! I will be reporting further on the issues very soon.

Just geeking out over here. It's interesting to see how things have changed. I have a boosted JDM B16a in my 91 CRX street/track car. This new engine looks crazy pulled apart. It's neat to see how they've integrated the manifold. I'm still partial to my B series, but love this new engine due to the efficiency it is able to squeeze out of a 1.5 liter.

Love seeing the progress you guys make....we are all following it very closely and wiping drool from the keyboard daily.

Well Well Well, for the TypeR the DI issue was just resolved: http://www.radiumauto.com/Port-Injection-Kit-Honda-K20C1-P1453.aspx Only a short matter of time before it's resolved for teh 1.5t:)

Port injection would easily allow you to go right past that perceived limitation of 400/400 we have hit:)
I wonder if the Type R can handle any more torque with its stock internals. I've heard tales of Type R rods twisting.

I'd be interested to see if aftermarket internals can restore the Type R's engine to a 8K+ RPM redline. If the stock R turbo can still provide boost up in that range, you'd have some sick high end power.
